Company History
Delzer Pipeline Construction, Inc. has been serving customers in Western United States for nearly 50 years. The company was founded by Robert and Betty Delzer. Innovation and invention established Mr. Delzer as a major player in the pipeline industry during the 1960s. He designed and built the first large scale trenching machine that could blast through rock and sandstone. Newspaper and magazine articles detailed his achievements and his name became well known by pipeline contractors throughout the nation. Delzer's foresight and his vision for trenching have been central to the success of the business and the trenching industry.
After his death in 1975, his son Richard Delzer and daughter-in-law Debora Delzer took over the family business. Under their leadership the business has reached new levels of excellence. Richard has built a reputation for delivering affordable and innovative solutions to tough construction problems. He has worked hard to build a trencher fleet that can accommodate the growing needs of his customers. His machines can dig all types of terrain, from dirt to solid rock. Projects that once took months have been reduced to weeks and in some cases days.
As the only contractor in Northern California that specializes in rock trenching, Richard Delzer has continued to gain national recognition in the industry. From airports to shopping malls, satisfied customers are amazed by the speed and accuracy of the trenching machines in his fleet. Operators digging granite in Roseville, Granite Bay or Rocklin, sandstone in the Bay Area or lava in Oregon are pleasantly surprised by gains in productivity. Our machines are ready to get to work the minute they roll on your site.
